How many slices of the flank steak can I have?
Hi, JulietNeil. That depends on how you slice the steak. You can have 1/3 of the recipe, or just under 7 ounces of steak – that is about the size of your hand.
Can I use olive oil and garlic powder rather than the lime zest and ginger. I am allergic to coconut
Hi, Nanci. Yes, of course.
Is there a veggie I can have with this?
Hi, prissysissy20. You can have a very low-carbohydrate vegetable like greens, zucchini, cucumber, celery, or scallions (green onions).
this has to be my favorite meal !!
The steak recipe turned out delicious but what kind of steak sauce can I dress the steak with?? (I usually like to eat steak with A1 sauce) Btw. I’m doing keto trim.
Hi, SheaHill. We recommend a keto-friendly steak sauce like “G Hughes Sugar-Free” (https://www.ghughessugarfree.com/steaksauce) or “Guy Gone Keto” (http://guygoneketo.com/store/). A-1 has too many carbohydrates – you would only be able to use 1 tablespoon with this recipe.
In the ingredients it says nothing about zest.
But in the preparation it says mix the lime juice, coconut oil ,garlic, zest, ginger, salt and pepper . So what is the zest again?
Hi, Jay840. You get the zest and juice from the lime in the ingredients list.
Oh ok!! I thought maybe that was another ingredient I didn’t get??
Thank you for the response ?
using the grater on the skin creates the zest
