Ingredients
- ½ cup whole oats, steel-cut, uncooked
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp local pure honey
- ½ cup organic pastured milk
- 1-2 Tbsp. coconut flakes and/or chopped pecans
- ½ banana (optional)
Directions
- Cook oatmeal in water as directed on oat package.
- 1 minute into cooking, add honey and nuts/coconut.
- Remove from heat, and pour into serving bowl, add banana (if desired) and milk.
I don’t like cooked oatmeal, can I have it cold with coconut milk?
