      • Hi, Perdikka. “Fastening” refers to “fasting,” and in this case, “intermittent fasting” – eating for a set period of time during the day (usually the 8 hours in which you are most active), then not eating for the remaining 16.

    1. Im just getting started and have a few question..How much black black coffe should you drink in a day?
How many snacks can you have a day?what can i drink in the place of diet coke?? What are some good shakes that i can drink to keep my keto in line. ? I’m About 100lbs over weight and I’m 58 years old. Really need help . Really tring to keep up.

      • Hi, Selkins1. Black coffee is “free,” so there is no limit according to this plan, though medical research suggest that 4 cups per day is the upper limit for many people. If you like soda, we recommend you make your own rather than relying on readymade products with excessive sugar or artificial sweeteners that can work against your goals here; just dress up plain soda water with natural flavor extracts (yes, “cola” is available!) or citrus peels and a natural no-carb sweetener (such as Stevia, monk fruit, and/or erythritol).
Our plan has one snack, but if you want more, let me know, and I will help you out – if nothing else, you can eat “free” vegetables such as cucumbers and celery between meals. We don’t recommend shakes so much as we do supplements, such as KetoGenic Accelerator (https://trk.knxtrk.com/aff_c?offer_id=16&aff_id=1113&aff_sub=sh&aff_sub2=os), which is a really well-rounded formula.

      • Hi, Marinalaurie. If you like the idea of the recipe, you can do either of the following:
        1. Swap the coffee for a few drops of rum and vanilla extracts in hot water.
        2. Swap the coffee for a teaspoon or two of cocoa powder in hot water, and 1.5 of the tablespoons of the butter for 1/3 cup of light cream.

If you would like a different snack entirely, click on the edit or crossout tool to the immediate right of this item in your menu, then select an alternative from the pop-up list.

    2. I love bullet coffee but I thought it was used in place of breakfast? Is this not the case? Mine is a little different. Mine is 8 oz brewed coffee, 1 Tbs ghee butter, 1 Tbs MCT oil, 1 Tbs monk fruit sweetener, 1 Tbs skinny mix flavor.

      • Hi, Gogoasa, and welcome! Use of honey comes down to the type used – raw is the best – and amount used, compared to how much fat is in the recipe. A keto-supportive food has as much or more fat than the amount of carbohydrates+protein combined. So if you use just a teaspoon of honey in a full cup of light cream, it would be fine.
Can you tell me a little more about your smoothie?

    3. Hi, Alicia7669. You can use whatever recipe you wish for your meals, as long as they are from the same keto category – main meals or snacks. You will note that the nutritional values for each are quite different (around 500-700 for meals vs. 200-300 for snacks).
