If you’re grating the butter and adding to the meat, will it not melt and all be wasted?
Hi, Candylm. When the butter is grated and blended, it melts in a certain way and is absorbed by the meat during cooking that optimizes the texture of the cooked patty.
Hello, it’s showing that I can have 4 patties is that correct?
Hi, welouidor35. No, actually 1 serving one quarter of the recipe – so it would be 1 patty if you make 4 patties. If you make 16 mini-patties, then you can have four.
Can I have catsup on the hamburger?
Hi, NatalieKannon. Yes, you can have a tablespoon of catsup here.
Can I substitute American cheese slices for the cheddar cheese slices?
Hi, NatalieKannon. We don’t recommend ultra-processed foods like that. If you don’t like cheddar, mozzarella or Monterey Jack are a bit milder and much less processed.
I have had these 2 times and soft butter is much easier to blend in the hamburger than cold .
