Ingredients

  • Raw Egg, 3 egg (129 g)
  • Whole Milk, 3/4 cup (183 g)
  • Cherry tomatoes, 1 cup (142 g)
  • Olive Oil, 2 tablespoon (30 g)
  • Goat Cheese, 2 tbsp (50 g)
  • Black Pepper, 1/3 tbsp, ground (1 g)
  • Dill, 5 sprigs (1 g)
  • Table salt, 1/3 teaspoon 1 g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F .
  2. In a medium bowl whisk together the eggs, milk and salt and pepper. Add in the tomatoes, dill and goat cheese. Mix well.
  3. Grease a pie plate with olive oil. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie pan and bake for 25-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
  4. Serve immediately.

      • Hi, Clafflin. The 17 number is the total carbohydrates – available carbohydrates are much less. This particular recipe has more carbs because it includes a fruit/vegetable – that food group is essential, even on a keto plan.

      • Hi, Kiralea. Milk is rarely included in these recipes, but rather more so very-low-carbohydrate dairy because the fat content far exceeds the amount of carbohydrate+fat – essential for ketosis – so it is keto-supportive. In this recipe, the overall fat content is still very high.
