Ingredients

  • Walnuts, 1/2 cup, chopped (59 g)
  • Maple Syrup, 1 tablespoon (20 g)
  • Table salt, 1 teaspoon (5 g)
  • Broccoli,1/2 heads (302 g)
  • Olive Oil, 1 tablespoon (15 g)
  • Peanut butter, unsalted, 2 tbsp (32 g)
  • Butter, No Salt, 1 tablespoon (14 g)
  • Soy Sauce, 1 tbsp (18 g)
  • White vinegar, 1 teaspoon (5 g)
  • Garlic, 1 garlic clove (4 g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven at 325° F (160°C)
  2. Mix maple syrup, 1/2 tsp of salt and nuts and transfer the nuts on a lined baking sheet
  3. Toast the nuts for 10 minutes, making sure they don't burn
  4. Lower the oven's temperature to 270 F and toast for another 8 minutes
  5. Let the walnuts rest apart
  6. Preheat the oven to 400 F
  7. In a bowl, mix broccoli, olive oil, the remaining salt and place them on a lined baking sheet
  8. Roast the broccoli for 20 minutes
  9. In a skillet, melt the butter over low heat, then add soy sauce, peanut butter, vinegar and garlic. Mix well
  10. As soon as the sauce starts to boil, remove it from the heat, mix in the walnuts and pour it on the broccoli
