    • Hi, Keenlee. You can use canola oil instead of olive oil, no problem (if you can find organic and unrefined, that is ideal, but don’t stress about that).
Since cheese is an important contributor of protein and fat to this recipe, some adjustment will be necessary if you leave it out. Can you have some nuts on the side (2 tablespoons)? Half a cup of plain Greek yogurt?

    • Hi, lagreenlee. Coconut milk beverage makes for a great whitener that doesn’t add up in calories too quickly, and for a sweetener, we recommend Stevia, monk fruit, erythritol, or a combination. We discourage anything artificial.

    • Hi, Courtneyd. It’s better to substitute it with something else. There are vegan versions of cheeses, if they suit you better, or you could try avocado in omelettes and scrambled egg dishes (avocado is a great sub for mayo, as is tahini mixed with vinegar).

    • Hi, MsKayo. Keto plans are based on being very high in fat, with very little carbohydrates. Because of that, fat-free milk and orange juice are not compatible. If you like milk, you can drink a mixture of 2/3 cup whole milk + 1/3 cup light cream, but that yields 250 calories, so you need to reduce the portion of the rest of your meal to compensate. To use this recipe as an example, you would make between 1/2-2/3 of it, favoring the higher fat ingredients:
      2 eggs
      1 slice of bacon
      3/4 ounce cheddar cheese (3 tablespoons grated/shredded)
      2 teaspoons olive oil
      Salt to taste

    • Hi, Selithia. In this recipe, you can replace the bacon with 2 ounces of turkey sausage (about 1/4 cup crumbled). To make the recipe extra keto-supportive after the swap, I suggest to add 2 tablespoons of avocado OR 3 tablespoons of olives.

    • Hi, noahbaby. We recommend eating your first meal shortly after you rise for the day (unless you work out first thing, then you can have your first meal afterward, if you wish), then in the middle of the day, then when you return home from your day; you can add another snack between any of those meals, or later in the evening. Just be sure you’ve finished eating at least an hour before retiring for sleep.
What is listed are your primary meals, but you can add “free” vegetables, such as raw salad greens, cucumber, and celery.

  1. Oh my gosh! My first day and this breakfast was so huge! I only used 2 eggs and the omelette was still ginormous! Im totally stoked to see if eating right on plan helps me lose. Ive tried everything else and if this works I will be so happy!!!

  2. Working on wrapping my head around all this fat….but just loving the mental taste buds! Plan to test that omelet in the morning at breakfast. With this menu I’ll be eating all day? Not used to so much food…

    • Hi, Katwinkle. The keto menu has just three main meals plus one snack, no worries. If you need to cut the portions a little, that’s fine – just make sure it’s not a semi-starvation thing, and do try to get in the vegetables and dairy.

    • Hi, Nadiag19. The keto diet is based on being mostly fat – so the total amount per day will be high, and that’s what will get you into ketosis. As for the bacon itself, we encourage you to use uncured bacon (without added artificial nitrites and nitrates), so that you can have more with less health risk. If you don’t want that much each day, you can click on any of the items and swap it for something else on the pop-up list.

  3. Enjoyed, the delicious omelette this morning. This is the first day with my meal plan more precise. I ha already lost 10 pounds on the Keto plan. Was feeling I had somewhat stagnated, but now I feel ready to go on with this meal plan. ♥️

  4. This is day one of my diet and I had this omelet with bacon and cheese and I love it. I also started taking Keto Max Slim and want to know if I can also take Keto Ultra Fat Burn as it says it helps with Appetite Control?

    • Hi, Jkornak. I believe one is an herbal type formula, and the other is based on hydroxybutyrate. If that is the case, then you can take them both. However, be sure to check the labels to make sure they don’t both contain caffeine!
