Hi, Roznvic. Absolutely! Almond shake is a great addition/substitution.
Can I use Almond Milk – Plain?
I’ve had this shake twice and it’s fantastic. Once as a shake and the second as a smoothie. For the smoothie I used a whole orange, added fresh spinach and ice. It was great and my family loved it also.
I love this the kids all loved it!
I have a blender that was expensive but is not finding it easy to fully blend raw veggie. Is juicing not an option? – my juicer works really well 🙂
If it takes on carrot taste..ick, If not then sounds good. I can add peotein powder to it.
That orange carrot juice sounds filling. Cant wait to taste it, Sound like a great smoothie for lunch also.
Hi, Dan. You can use coconut water, which does not taste like coconut, or rice milk, which has very little flavor.
What would be a good sub for coconut milk?
I don’t like the smell or taste of coconut.
Just my “cup of tea”
Hi, JoePopa. Coconut milk is an option – see the end of the third ingredient line.
Wow,this sounds great! I’ve been preparing this with just the carrots and oranges and at times I’ve added celery but I use a juice extractor .I’m definitely going to try it with coconut water or milk!
