Ingredients
- Butter, 6 oz (168 g)
- Garlic Powder, 1/2 teaspoon (5 g)
- Parsley, 1 tablespoon (4 g)
- Lemon Juice, 1 tablespoon (15 g)
- Table salt, 1 teaspoon (5 g)
- Black Pepper, 2 tsp, ground (5 g)
- Green Beans, fresh, 1 lb (437 g)
- Pork chops, 1.2 lb (560 g)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix 2/3 of the butter, garlic, parsley and lemon juice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
- Season the chops with salt and pepper.
- In a large frying pan, melt 2 oz of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chops and fry for about 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and thoroughly cooked through.
- Remove the chops from the pan and keep warm.
- Add the green beans to the same skillet. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook over medium-high heat until the beans are softened but still a bit crunchy.
- Serve the pork chops and beans together with the garlic butter sauce melting on top.

Can I use normal peas here instead of green beans?
Hi, JadeJolly. Regular peas are not keto-supportive (too high in carbohydrates and protein), so they don’t go with this keto recipe. If you are looking for an alternative to green beans, note that you can use greens.
