Ingredients
- 2 cups spelt flour
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup warm water
Directions
- In a bowl, mix flour, oil and salt.
- Gradually add enough water until a dough is formed which leaves the bowl clean.
- Knead the dough on a firm surface for at least 2 minutes.
- Place dough back in the bowl and leave for at least 20 minutes.
- Cut dough into 8 equal pieces.
- On a floured surface roll each piece into a thin round flatbread.
- lightly oil a heavy pan on a medium heat. Add a flatbread to the pan and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the surface bubbles.
- Turn over and repeat.
- Do the same for each flatbread.
