Ingredients

  1. 1 cup / 30 g fresh spinach (packed), chopped, or frozen spinach
  2. 1 cup / 166 g organic strawberries, sliced
  3. ½ cup / 120 ml green tea
  4. ½ cup / 120 ml flaxseed or other vegan milk
  5. 1 Tbsp. / 15 g flaxseeds, freshly ground
  6. ½ tsp. / 1 gm Stevia or monkfruit sweetener
  7. 2-3 ice cubes

Directions

  1. Mix in a blender for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until desired consistency is reached.
Serving Size: ֲ2 cups / 480 ml Exchanges per Serving: ½ Protein, ½ Fat, 1 Fruit, 1 Veg

  1. Hi, rgs. You can discern the ratio by looking clicking on “Exchange view” in the toolbar above your menu. The exact ratio isn’t all that important – we emphasize more just making sure you get minimum servings of food groups and combine proteins with carbohydrates. However, if you’re interested, the ratio is about 1 gram each of protein and fat for each 3 grams of carbohydrates.

    Yes, you can use canned fish, but do try to avoid types preserved in oil, if you can.

  2. I am new to this program and I am reading through my menu staring Monday. Where is the recipe for the shake with fruit and dairy? Also the menu looks great but I am cooking for one person-I have lobster and crab and clams on my menus – do I get fresh ? Or can I use canned? I want to make sure I have my pantry and refrigerator ready for Monday.
